Felabration 2018: Davido shuts down music festival on last day

  • Davido ended the long week performances from various music stars at the Felabration 2018 with a sterling performance. Felabration 2018 has ended on a high note with Davido shutting down the musical festival at the New Afrika Shrine. Davido’s energetic performance on Sunday, October 21, 2018, wrapped up the 2018 edition of Felabration 2018. Earlier on Friday, October 19, 2018, Ycee and Reminisce kept the energy on up when they took the stage to mark the fifth day of Felabration 2018. Ycee, Reminisce vibe on day 5 Pasuma, Reekado Banks and Omawumi had earlier thrilled the followers of the annual event with interesting performances that represent the memory of the legend being celebrated the late Fela Anikulapo Kuti.  On Sunday, Davido dished out several tracks from his musical works leaving the crowd high on a full dose of his Afropop music.
  •   The energetic performance of Davido and his DMW crew was able to move the audience in time for other music acts. Pasuma, Reekado Banks, Omawumi makes day 4 memorableOn Saturday, October 20, 2018, Tuface Idibia joined other top music acts to perform at the Felabration 2018.  Femi Kuti alongside the positive force band also entertained dignitaries and guests with songs and musical instruments display.As expected, the last night of Felabration 2018 witnessed a large turnout of fans, both regular visitors, foreigners and first timers on the first day of the festival.Over the years, Felabration has been widely celebrated by fans both within and outside the country and has attracted a wide pool of superstars from all over the world like Femi Kuti, Hugh Masakela, Wizkid, Lucky Dube, Awilo Longomba, Baba Maal, Les Nubians, King Sunny Ade, Burna Boy, Lagbaja, Asa and 2baba, to name a few.
  •  This years edition which is themed ‘Overtaking Overtake’ coincides with the 80th post-humous celebration of the life of Fela Anikulapo Kuti.
